2.-OBJECTIVES

Implementation of creative and artistic strategies to observe and to meditate on the nature in a transeuropean context involving artists in the educational processes.

The differential value of this PEE was the implication of an artist for each European centre in the process of learning of the pupils.

The Comenius pupils visited the artist's workshop and the artist went to the educational centre to relate his work and significant aspects of the creative process.

Artists linked to the educational centers:

Manuel Silvestre (Spain) (Department of Drawing - College of Fine Arts UPV) Chairman of Silk Screen Printing of the College of Fine Arts of Valencia. From his double slope as an artist and professor he has meditated, through his work and his theoretical works, about the capacity of symbiosis of two plastic means: the painting, as unique image and the engraving and the stamping systems, as reproduction and multiplication processes.  In their extensive trajectory he has developed diverse facets of the Silk screen printing of engraving, the edition of artist's books or the painting. Their more recent works underline the possibilities to confront and to assemble both languages, on the one hand the mechanical registers and of photographic relation (letter and image printed); and of other the graphics and stains of colour based on gestures and with a direct character.

or Georg Lebzelter (Austria) as far as his work is concerned, the central reason of his artistic working is the dialogue between the ideas and conceptions and the materials used during the processes of developing a picture. This interest takes him to the use of printing techniques mainly the engraving which is recurrent and exploring by its nature.

From 1990 he has been a teacher at the Wiener Kunstschule, a private art school. From 1999 he has been working as a teacher in the Graphische of Hoehere Lehranstalt in Vienna, a public professional school for graphic and communicational design. From 2004 he has exercised as a teacher in the New Design University St. Pölten, in the south of Austria.

Valère Costs (France) Without seeking to reproduce them, their machines can evoke such natural events as the wind in the high grasses or the tempest and the waves. In their installations the setting in movement is the main part, the wires and electronic devices are often visible, the wires on the floor end up reinterpreting the serpentine curves and graphics of the preparatory designs.

Valère Costes carries out small simple mechanisms that evoke the chills of the nature with their movements. His works are some insignificant voluntary intents of simulating the flows that encourage the nature in such wild state as lapsing of the waters or the wind in the high grasses.
